SVKM J.V.Parekh International School’s Pre Primary “SMART START” program– is an innovative program designed to initiate in the child the processes of observing, exploring, thinking, learning and expressing within a nurturing environment.
It is affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), Geneva, and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK, and received the 'Cambridge International Centre' status in 2007.
Academic year runs from June to April.

The pre primary “Smart Start” Program uses a system of continuous evaluation and provides parents with an assessment of their child’s academic progress based on a comprehensive system of reports and Parent Teacher Meetings. Primary and secondary assessment is a combination of formative and summative assessment.
At the end of the primary years, the children of Grade 5 appear for the Primary Checkpoint Examinations where the skills learnt during the primary years are assessed. At the end of Lower Secondary (grade 8), students take the Cambridge Checkpoint tests.

50% of students have secured 33 points (out of 45 points) and above.
School topper scored 41 points.
Parent teacher meetings held at regular intervals, in which parents can discuss their child's progress. School communicates through email for announcements and event updates.
Online admissions for nursery 2019-20 are open from 15th October, 2018 to 24th October, 2018. Submission of form and documents in school from 16th October, 2018 to 24th October 2018, between 10 am to 2 pm.

The school also organizes a special robotics workshop, wherein students use Lego kits and learn to make Robots using concepts currently taught in academics, thereby putting theory into practice. Students are taught to design, build and program a robot.
Pre-Primary Field trips to Joggers park, Plant Nursery, Supermarket, Traffic Park, etc. Primary section students visit places such as Museums, Zoo, Nehru Science centre, Star Bazaar, etc.
