Podar International School is a part of the Podar Education Complex, which is managed by Anandilal and Ganesh Podar Society established in 1927. Podar International School was founded on April 6th, 2004. It is affiliated to Cambridge International Examinations, UK (CIE) and International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva (IBO).
The Pre-primary operates under the brand name of "Podar Jumbo Kids" in several locations across Mumbai. The primary and secondary sections operate in different buildings. The address of the Primary section is : Shagun Plaza, Opp. CKP Club, Linking Road, Khar (West), Mumbai- 400052. Please note that the pre-primary section operates under the brand name of "Podar Jumbo Kids," which has several branches across Mumbai. Post completion at Jumbo kids, students are transferred to a Podar School.

Assessments include reflection sheets, formative assessments and summative assessments. Students' progress report is based on learner profiles, skills, attitudes, concepts and knowledge that they have gained in any year.
IBDP and IGCSE Results (2015/2016)
IBDP Results of May 2016: 2 students scored 43 grade points out of a possible 45 grade points. 6 students have scored between 40 and 43 grade points & 16 students have scored 35 grade points and above. The school average of 33 is higher than the world average of 30.07.
A Level Results of Nov 2015: 132 students appeared for the IGCSE exams, 88 % students scored above 75%. The school topper scored all 8 A*, totaling to 96%.
Circulars, examination schedule, exam portion and school calendar posted on the school website. The school also has an online portal for parents, through which parents can pay fees, view their child's attendance, view any comments posted by the teacher on the behavior of the child as well as send messages to the teacher.
Registrations for 2018-19 are currenly open. The school also has open admissions throughout the year depending on availability of seats.
